Making the olive's journey visible

The Aegean has no shortage of good olives; what gets lost is the olive's story. By the time a product travels from grove to table it changes hands many times, and where it came from — which village, whose labor — is erased along the way. FarmNara was founded in İzmir to rebuild that link.

What we do today is supply: we select table olives and olive oil from Aegean growers, have them packed under the FarmNara brand, and deliver them to hotels, retail chains, catering companies and restaurants. Every batch carries a QR code — anyone who scans it sees which grove, which harvest and whose hands the product came from.

Bringing technology to the field

FarmNara is as much an agricultural technology venture as a supply brand. We invest our earnings in sensors and field management systems installed on the farms we work with. When soil and weather data is in the farmer's hands, irrigation and spraying decisions become precise: yields rise, losses fall.

The same data feeds the product's story. Over time, the page behind the QR code won't just say "this village, this grower" — it will also show the conditions the product grew in. Our first pilot installation starts in September 2026.

Where we're headed

Our short-term goal is clear: bring the Aegean's good olives, story intact, to more businesses. But the chain isn't limited to olives — step by step we'll carry the same traceable supply model to other Aegean products. In the medium term, we want to turn the sensor and field management systems we offer farmers into a product in its own right — a brand that unites traceable supply and field technology in one chain.
