AT THE MEZE TABLE
A BREAKFAST IDEA
Something fresh. A spoonful of something sweet.
Mild, crumbly lor cheese and fruit preserves make an easy breakfast bowl. Keep the cheese soft, spoon the preserves over the top and bring it to the table with bread.

ONE STEP AT A TIME
Break up the lor with a fork. If it feels dry, fold in 15 ml milk, adding another 15 ml only if needed. Keep a little of its crumbly texture.
Divide the cheese between two bowls and spoon 20 g preserves over each. Leave a few streaks of fruit on the surface instead of stirring everything together.
Serve straight away with bread alongside. Toast the bread if you prefer; allow a few extra minutes for toasting.
WHEN IT REACHES THE TABLE
For a small sweet finish after breakfast, divide the same amounts between four little bowls.
